Thankful Box! ( Craft Idea)

Just wanted to share my idea for a thankful box. Each year we usually go around and ask what everyone is thankful for. But this year I am doing it a little bit different. I took a shoe box and covered it with brown crate paper. I used good old Elmer's glue to attach the crate paper and a box cutter to cut a slit in the box top. Then I found a template for the large and small leaves online and cut those out of different colors of crate paper. I cut out about 20 of the large leaves for everyone to write what they are thankful for on. And decorated the box with some pictures of things that you see @ thanksgiving! Calvary Chapel Bible College! Woman's Retreat!

So on the 11-13 I went to Calvary Chapel bible College for a retreat with some of the women from our Church. This was my Second time and I really enjoyed it. They have Several hot springs on the grounds and I had said that I was going to get in this time! But it was just to cold out to brave the weather in a swim suit!

Halloween

Our new Exchange Student!

On Thursday Aug 4th We Got our new Exchange Student her name is Sofia, She is from Brazil & she will be with us until December Sometime!

it's been awhile

It's Crazy to think that summer is here now and that our Exchange student from Japan is now Back in Japan. Time sure is flying by Dave and I celebrated our 9th anniversary in may and as a gift to us his brother treated us to their timeshare in Sedona! Neither Dave nor I had been there. Wow it was so nice and so Green. It did rain the first day but it was still nice and the red mountains (rocks) we very wonderful We spent time walking around the town and seeing the town. we also sat thru a 3 hour spill on the timeshare and wre got a gift certificate to the barking frog restraunt. and a certificate for a 3 day 2 night stay at another timeshare! we have decided on Las Vegas! we also Celebrated Dave's Birthday when we got back!

New Truck!

Last night we got a new Truck! Well it's not brand new but it's new to us! it's a Toyota Tacoma!
