Zoo Time!

I have lived in Arizona since 97 and have yet to see the Zoo here. I have been asking for a long time but we just never seen to remember or have the time for Dave and I to go since my man works two jobs. We really Cherish the time he is not working but I think there is room for improvement. Like Taking some time for the little things as well. And me admitting that it's OK to just stay home I don't need to go out Every day. I don't know about you out there but I get restless and need out of the house when I have been here for 3 days strait with no view of the outside world other than the T.v.. Anyways sorry for the babbling. Last Tuesday (1-20-09) I finally Got my view of the phoenix zoo and some Exercise too (lol). Here are some Pictures.

I must admit I was Surprised when we came to the part of the zoo with these little guys... we got to the entrance and a zoo keeper was standing there he said would you like to see the monkeys I said yes and he said OK they are loose in there so be careful and keep your distance. and if you touch anything wash your hands when you exit as the monkeys have peed on most everything (EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!) so not knowing what to expect we enter (all this time I am thinking these are probably some huge flippin monkeys that if you stare at them the wrong way will start running after you. I'm thinking Aggressive, But why would a zoo in there right mind let something like that run free. Oh well so much for hoping lol. Aren't they cute!Lions and Tigers and Bears OH My!!
Flamingo's- Did you know the reason that Flamingo's Stand on one foot is to keep the leg that is up Warm, their Legs have no feathers on them so to keep them warm they alternate them, Yeah I know some useless fact I learned at the zoo.
And Lemurs They are my Favorite, They are so Stinking cute & yes I am sure they stink to.

Well that's all for now sorry I am not Going to show you all the pictures that we took as we took like 56 pictures at the Zoo! But it was Great fun and I enjoyed spending Time with my Man. Hope you had fun looking at the pictures.

I found this video on the Internet and I just think it is by far the strangest thing I have seen in a long time. I guess to each their own, this takes the word recycle to a new level!

Cardboard Testimonies

Today I was looking at one of the blogs that I follow. When I stumbled across this video, How life changing someones small testimony can be, we are all his Children and through what ever source he has to take he is calling to us to come to him. he cares about the simple things the things we think are not big enough to bother him with. He is watching when we think no one cares and he is listening in our silent moments when we are thinking. Just Remember he is there and He Loves you! Watch it, It made me Cry.
