I Know I know! it's been a long time since I posted anything but I have had a crazy few months on a sad note my Dad passed away in April from Cancer well that's not completely true he Had colon cancer and was being treated for that. He was pretty sick and could not afford to loose weight in the first place he was probably about 125 at his healthy weight and had lost more due to his illness. He Had had stents put in due to his heart attack prior to finding out he had cancer and they told us that after he would be at greater risk for something to go wrong for about 6 months after.  well to make a long story short his aortic valve burst and there was nothing that could be done for him. I miss him so much it has been six months now and i can hardly believe he is Gone.

Wow, I cannot believe that Its already December and that today is the start of advent! 
Advent is a time to prepare your heart for the coming of our savior, He after all is the Reason
for this time of year and the reason I am so thankful for this time of year...but not just now we should be thankful for him all year!  He means so much to me and to my family. May this time of year and the Spirit of Jesus live in your heart and home!

Thankful Box! ( Craft Idea)

Just wanted to share my idea for a thankful box. Each year we usually go around and ask what everyone is thankful for. But this year I am doing it a little bit different. I took a shoe box and covered it with brown crate paper. I used good old Elmer's glue to attach the crate paper and a box cutter to cut a slit in the box top. Then I found a template for the large and small leaves online and cut those out of different colors of crate paper. I cut out about 20 of the large leaves for everyone to write what they are thankful for on. And decorated the box with some pictures of things that you see @ thanksgiving!
